The Public Service Commission of New York State, a boby created by the last Legislature in line with Governor Hughes' policy as expressed in his message to the Assembly, has adopted a series of rules intended to prevent hereafter the overcapitalization of corporations which come under the jurisdiction of the commission.
Jesus
said, "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment," and in Science and Health we read that "anatomy, when conceived of spiritually, is mental self-knowledge, and consists in the dissection of thoughts to discover their quality, quantity, and origin".
It
will be seen, from the newspaper editorials which we reprint in this issue of the Sentinel, that the suit of the "next friends" was not one which met with public approval, and the only move in connection with it which has received endorsement was its withdrawal.
An
echo may be somewhat confused and indefinite because of the imperfections of reflecting surfaces, nevertheless it is quite sure to retain something of the distinctive characteristic of the parent voice and to enlarge its fame and range of influence.

Christian Science first attracted my attention some fifteen years ago, and at that time, in the words of Paul, "I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
When I was a comparatively young man, an injury was produced in my left side from overstraining, and ten years later an accident caused the same trouble on the other side.
A little more than a year ago, owing to a most severe mental struggle respecting business matters, I was actually obliged to come to Christian Science for help, from the fact that I had tried to find it elsewhere with no success, and under existing circumstances help at that time was absolutely necessary.
