Several years ago, when the drainage of the city was being constructed, and prior to our coming into Christian Science. I suffered, as I had suffered for many consecutive years before, with what the doctors called a low form of fever. Every year I had medical treatment, but never got completely well. In September, 1898, after having the usual trouble and under the same conditions, my father and mother had my case treated in Christian Science, and my healing was effected through the realization of the truth, as made known in the text-book of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I was sick in bed only one week, and since then have never been troubled with the fever. I am very grateful to give this testimony, for my experience meant the destruction of a disease which had baffled the doctors, and had increased year after year, until it was almost unbrearable. I am so thankful that Mrs. Eddy has made plain to us this wonderful Science of healing.
