I came into Christian Science seven years ago

I came into Christian Science seven years ago. I had heard of it as a healing agency several years previous to this time, but had been unable to gain an understanding of it for lack of literature. My condition at the time of my appeal to the Science for help seemed hopeless. I was suffering from catarrhal affection of the head, stomach, and bowels, and the conditions, as several physicians declared. were fast becoming very serious. I also had a trouble which one doctor pronounced an abnormal growth, and for which he urged an operation. Another physician diagnosed the trouble differently, but he also said that my life depended upon an operation. In addition I was suffering from an injured spine, my family physician saying that it would be necessary to have the piece of broken vertebra removed before I could walk. At this time I found my remedy in the text-book of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Heavy doctor bills were cut short, and divine Truth has been my physician ever since. I can truthfully say that I am now perfectly free from any ailment, and I am filled with gratitude to our dear Leader for showing us "the way."
