I wish to express my gratitude and thanks to Mrs. Eddy...
I wish to express my gratitude and thanks to Mrs. Eddy for what Christian Science has brought to me. For three years I was a very heavy drinker, so much so that it almost wrecked me and my home; and, as in many other cases, it broke the heart of a loving wife and mother, weakened ties that bind the father to his child, and took from us the necessities of life. I shall never be able to satisfy the cravings of my heart to thank adequately the great power that heals, the power through which I have been entirely freed from the curse of drink. Christian Science is of the greatest help to me in my every-day life; I feel like a new and different person. It seems to me to be the greatest gift of God to the afflicted. It was the power of Christian Science that healed me in a moment's time while being treated. This occurred in January, 1906, and it was a wonderful experience to me, for I had been striving to be cured of this curse by Christian Science for four years previously. I sincerely hope that all who desire relief may heed my experience and profit by my cure through this marvelous power of divine Truth, Words can never express the wonderful miracle Christian Science has wrought. I am only one of the many, and shall ever be glad to answer any and all inquiries that may reach me, as I am a living proof of this great and glorious power.
