When I first heard of Christian Science I had been afflicted for nine years with a very painful disease of the bowels, which four physicians failed even to diagnose, all giving different causes for the dreadful sufferings I endured.
About nine years have passed since I quit taking medicine and began to rely entirely on God for healing.
About twenty-two years ago I was operated upon in a hospital in New York City, and a so-called malignant growth was removed.
I am a man of middle age, and until June, 1900, I was continually under the care of doctors.
With a grateful heart I testify to the blessings I have experienced through Christian Science.
In August, 1903, I was taken suddenly ill with a trouble which several different physicians afterwards diagnosed as rheumatic and nervous trouble, originating with a stomach difficulty.
