LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

Pleasant View, Monday, April 8, 1907.

Dear Leader:—Have you noticed the remarkable coincidence regarding the subject of the Atonement? When I began to look up the current Sunday Lesson-Sermon today, I was struck with the fact that just now, when through the last Sentinel you have invited the Field, that is to say, the world, to a consideration of this all-important theme as taught in your book, it is already being assiduously studied by all who love our Cause,—and they are legion,—as the present week's Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly is the "Doctrine of Atonement." This is all the more singular and strikingly significant if, as I suppose, you had not even noticed that this is the Lesson for next Sunday. Truly God does move "in a mysterious way His wonders to perform."

Faithfully your student, George H. Kinter.
