I am perfectly well and happy to-day because of Christian Science
I am perfectly well and happy to-day because of Christian Science. It came into my life not because I knew anything about the Science or desired it, but only because it seemed to be the last resort in a case that had resisted material remedies. Christian Science cured me of hip disease, which had developed as the result of a severe fall. The greater part of nine months after the accident I had spent in bed in almost constant pain and with sleepless nights. The physicians and my family did all they could for my comfort, but nothing brought me relief from the suffering. All drugs failed, and anesthetics were useless. The daily use of hypodermic injections of morphine only produced a sore at the point of injection, and even the possibility of an operation was questioned. In this situation I accepted Christian Science treatment, and in less than one month I was cured. I returned at once to continue my course in college, which had been interrupted by the accident, and again I played tennis, etc., and took an active part in all college festivities. This was a number of years ago, and from that day to this there has never been the slightest return of pain or weakness. Blessings and cures unnumbered have come to me through my subsequent study and application of Christian Science. I have found it an efficient, sufficient, tangible, and operative Science, which in direct proportion as it is understood is demonstrable, healing all sickness and sorrow and sin. Many, many times have I returned thanks for the discovery and the Discoverer of this healing Truth, for her through whose patient, tireless, loving labors all who will may benefit.
