I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science...
I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. It was about two years ago that it first came to me, and, I may say, saved me from the grave. My health had been very bad for years; for three and a half years I had been confined to my bed most of the time, and was given up as incurable by the medical doctors who treated me. They said I had a complication of diseases, one of which was consumption, also Bright's disease, tumors, and several other ills. I was in a sanitarium twice, but was none the better. Words cannot tell how mush I suffered; I was wretched indeed, but when I found Christian Science I was healed.
I am so glad to know that God's arm is not shortened. I am truly grateful for Science and Health. The Bible and our precious text-book are my daily companions. and the spiritual uplift is the best of all. I thank God for giving us our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has brought to us this blessed truth. I have five children, and am now doing all my own work. Dear suffering ones, take courage!—Amanda Faircloth, Swainsboro, Ga.
