All my life I had been an invalid
All my life I had been an invalid. For years I did not know what it was to be one day without pain. Twelve years ago I understood from the physicians then attending me, that if I would undergo an operation I would be a well woman. I went through the operation, and was a year getting to where I could do anything, but as I was without constant pain I called myself well. Three years ago, the culmination of those intervening years of hoping for perfect health, and suffering in various ways, brought on a form of nervous prostration which meant going to a sanitarium.
Divine Love then led me where I could see what this wonderful message of Truth could do and had done. I began attending the Christian Science services and reading the literature. I thus found the pearl of great price, and by putting into practice the teachings of that wonderful book, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I found in a few weeks that I was a well woman. I know that if any one will accept this message in the same way that the blind man came to Jesus, he will be made whole.
I pray that my whole life may attest my gratitude to the Father for the Christ message which has been made plain to us through Science and Health, written by our best earthly friend to-day, Mrs. Eddy.
