I have long wanted to tell the world of my healing through Christian Science eight years ago. I had tried almsot every known remedy, and when my physician could give me no hope of recovery, through the advice of a friend I turned to Christian Science. I will mention a few of the many troubles from which I have been freed. I had suffered since childhood with catarrh of the head and throat, also indigestion, chronic dysentery, neuralgia of the heart, and consumption of the bowels. My husband spend almost all he made after we were married nineteen years ago for drugs and doctors' bills. We had some of the best physicians in North Carolina and Georgia, besides two in Florida. The last one (I think we had thirteen different doctors) pronounced my case almsot hopeless. My husband, who was always so patient and kind, asked the doctor to tell him the truth regarding my condition, so when he was told that I was going into consumption we were ready to try Christian Science. I was healed in one week's treatment, and now I am well and strong. It was about eight years ago that I came to Christian Science for help and I could not tell the hundredth part of the blessings and benefits that have come to me and mine through my understanding of this truth. When I came to Christian Science I could not eat any solid food, and for three months I had lived on tonics and cordials with two hypodermic injections of morphine daily. I could not walk two blocks without great fatigue, but I had only taken three treatments when I could "run and not be weary." I felt happier and better in every way after the first treatment, so I knew it must be the truth that could make such a change, and I wanted more of it. I have never used any medicine internally or externally since the first treatment. I was also healed of the very bad habit of using snuff. I formed the habit when a schoolgirl and was a slave to it. Some one had recommended it for toothache and I allowed the habit to grow.

I was healed of this, along with my other troubles and diseases, and have no desire for it.

My husband has also quit using tobacco since coming into Science. We have had some beautiful demonstrations during the eight years we have known this truth. About four months ago I had some dental work done. I ahd a practitioner go with me and I can truthfully say that I suffered scarcely any pain. Although I had been full of fear, it was soon destroyed and the work was painless udner the Christian Science thought.
