I was more or less of an invalid from childhood, suffering from very many serious troubles, and after I married I was confined to my bed for nearly two years. The doctors said I would soon be in an asylum if I did not have an operation performed, but I could not bear the thought of it. I then heard of Christian Science and was healed. My healing was slow, for I seemed to have much to over come,—constipation, ovarian trouble, etc.,—but now I am a well woman. Last June a little girl came to our home. I was alone at the time, and the birth was perfectly painless. I had absent treatment. The second day I was up, and in a week was able to go out. I am thankful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, for the good that I have received from this wonderful truth, and I strive daily to learn more.
