Christian Science cures by lifting the thought from the contemplation of the material concepts of sin, sickness, and death to the knowledge of the pure, sinless, deathless reality of God and His universe, including man. In this process the errors of mortal thought, whether they be sin, disease, or poverty, are met and destroyed, and man is freed from their bondage. Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Christian Science teaches that Jesus meant that a right knowledge of God frees man from mortal ills, and demonstrates the correctness of this teaching by results in the lives of men.

Following the footsteps of Jesus, Christian Science heals by placing its reliance on the unerring divine Mind and by acknowledging unreservedly the might and power of omnipotent Spirit. EZRA W. PALMER.
