In the year 1898 my attention was attracted to this truth which sets free, by the beautiful life of a neighbor, and I was subsequently healed in Christian Science of chills that all available material remedies had failed to relieve. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to our beloved Leader, but I will endeavor to attest it by implicit obedience to her teachings. Our literature is glorious, and I am never so happy as when conning its helpful pages. Last, but not least, and for which I am most grateful, is this, that recently, when I took our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," to the public library, it was gladly accepted. For all that Christian Science is doing for me, and for the world, I thank our Father-Mother God.
