Among the Churches

The Christian Scientists held the first service in their new church yesterday, Dec. 31, it being one year from the time the corner-stone was laid. The service was simply reading the lesson for the day on "Life."

Every seat in the auditorium was occupied and many had to stand. The organization of this church dates from Aug. 18, 1890. The church was legally incorporated April 5, 1897.—The San Diegan-Sun.
