Christian Science does not deny that the physical body is real and tangible to the mortal senses, nor that its suffering is real to those senses, but it does deny that they are real to God, or to His image and likeness, the perfect man. It is because Christian Scientists understand the birthright of dominion that they are able to apply it to the destruction of sin and suffering. Mrs. Eddy in her writings shows plainly how impossible it is for matter to emanate from Mind, and in this she is supported by many well-known authorities.
