About nine years ago I was instantly healed of nervous prostration. I was then living in Chicago and had been sick for three weeks, under a doctor's care, but getting no better. I knew something of Christian Science, but none of my family would believe in it. Finally I became discouraged. The least noise would give me such distress that they would have to hold my hands. I sent for a practitioner, who came and gave me a treatment. The same afternoon I got up and went out with my sister, as well as I ever was in my life. When the practitioner left she told me to come to her house a few days later, but I did not believe this possible. I, however, went there, and also went to see my mother, who had met with an accident. I waited on her for several days, running up and down stairs all the while. Since then I have had many beautiful demonstration. What a blessing this Science brings to all who accept it! I wish to thank Mrs. Eddy from the bottom of my heart; through her all these blessings have come to us.
