It is not possible to tell in a few words the benefits which I have derived from Christian Science. I wish to express my deep gratitude for our text-book, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I am also grateful for our services, for many times I have gone to them with a great sense of weariness and discouragement, and have come away uplifted and refreshed, and often healed of physical inharmony. Through this glorious understanding of man's true relationship to God, as taught in Christian Science, I have been healed of many ailments. About four years ago I was healed of lockjaw, against which materia medica is so helpless, and since then of the grip, tonsilitis, neuralgia, and great trouble with my eyes; also of frequent and severe headaches, which I had had all my life. From having been considered a very delicate woman and always limited because of this, I am now able to do anything and everything that comes to me to do, knowing that my health and strength are in God. Not only for my own healing am I thankful, but also that through a slight understanding of this truth it has been my privilege to help others. There is no circumstance, no matter how trivial it may seem, in which we cannot use our understanding of divine Mind, and meet every situation as its master.
Is it surprising that our hearts go out in love and gratitude to our beloved Leader, for the patience with which she has revealed to this age the Christ-idea, through which we can scientifically demonstrate over inharmony and discord, whether it be manifested as sickness or sin.
Theodora S. Bolles, East Orange, N. J.
