I feel an unutterable sense of thankfulness that I am...

I feel an unutterable sense of thankfulness that I am permitted to live in an age when we can realize the fulfilment of the promise that Love will destroy fear, when we apply this truth as directed in our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Recently one of our children came home from school, and seemed to be suffering from an attack of grip. The truth was immediately declared, and it was but a few moments until she was at work. That same evening she got her lessons as usual, and the next morning went to school, walking a mile. To material sense the attack seemed very serious, and others in the neighborhood were kept in bed under medical treatment for the same conditions. I speak of this with a heart full of gratitude, and because it may be interesting to some one in need. I also had an experience in overcoming an attack of grip for myself. The power of Truth enabled me to rise above the conditions which presented themselves, so that I could do the farm work, even when the weather was very cold, and I did not suffer any inconvenience from so doing. At the same time my wife seemed to be taking the same ailment, but the truth, spoken audibly and firmly, destroyed it, so there was no further manifestation of the disease, proving to our satisfaction that what our text-book says is true.

I thank God, who has given to us the unlimited treasures of Truth, revealed to us through Science and Health by one who is laboring unceasingly and untiringly to bring a blessing to all men and turn thought into the right channels, that all may behold their rightful heritage and dominion. May the rich blessings of Love rest with her ever.
