My Dear Sir :— I have your request for a corroboration of my testimonial which appeared in the Christian Science Sentinel of May 21, together with any additional facts which I might desire to relate.

I note that the New York editor's criticism of my story is based upon the admission that I declined to employ a surgeon, and that the foot is not as yet entirely straight.
