I want to give my testimony and tell one of the many blessings I have received through Christian Science.

Last Fourth of July when I was playing with some of my companions, I picked up a large-sized bomb and placed it under my arm. The bomb had been lighted, but had failed to go off. This was caused by the powder falling away from the fuse. After putting it under my arm I held it like a book, and in such a way that the powder fell against the fuse, and so caused it to explode, tearing my coat and shirt to pieces and inflicting two gashes in my arm, and burning a place as large as one's hand on my side.

The bomb was held under my left arm, and the ribs were thrown in so as to cause a hemorrhage of the lungs.

I ran a block home with the blood running out of my mouth and nose at every step. When I got home, and my aunt found out what was the matter she at once telephoned for a practitioner because I wanted one and she did. All the while the blood was coming from my mouth, but not as badly as it was at first.

In twenty minutes after the practitioner came, the blood had stopped and so had the pain, and in a little while I was asleep. I slept an hour, and that night I slept as sound as I ever did. This happened on Saturday, and on Monday I was dressed and out of doors, playing with my friends.

Wednesday evening I went to our service. I walked only a little stiff, and soon was well.

I am a boy twelve years old, and was healed of spinal trouble when I was five years old, by Christian Science, and I am grateful for all that it has done for me.
