Four years ago a lady came to live with us and brought to us the knowledge of Truth as revealed in Christian Science. Since that time we have reason to be more than grateful. How we managed without this knowledge, I can only wonder now.

I wish to tell of a few demonstrations of the power of divine Love. A little niece, four years old, lives with me; one day she stood on a chair before the sewing machine holding a penknife in her hand. She was calling to a little girl at the opposite window, when she fell off the chair, the knife blade running into her chest. I was sewing in a room near by and heard a girl next door scream out, and then all was quiet. The mother carried the little niece to me. I immediately saw very clearly that in Truth the real child had not been touched with error, and instantly the flow of blood stopped. I told the mother to change the soiled dress for a clean one, and in a few minutes she was back in the chair calling to the girl next door. As the blood stained dress was being taken off, I saw a cut on the chest, the width of the knife blade at its widest part. In about two days not even the scar was to be seen. What surprised us most was that the child never cried once, not even when falling.

I was healed of typhoid fever in about three weeks' treatment. After having trouble all my life with my throat, —having diphtheira and quinsy often,—I have not had any difficulty of that kind since I have known of Christian Science.
