I was first led to investigate Christian Science by hearing a sermon preached against it. The physical healing did not appeal to me, but the beautiful spiritual truth was just what I needed, and of course the physical healing followed. Ever since I was eight years old I had been subject to severe neuralgic and sick headaches, and could never ride any distance on the train without becoming very miserable from car sickness. After studying Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy for a few months, I awoke to the consciousness that I was entirely free from headaches and car sickness. Once in a great while a headache will come on, but it is very quickly overcome.

I find Christian Science invaluable to me in a business way, enabling me to detect errors in bookkeeping quickly and to do stenographic work in a noisy office and under the most trying circumstances, with accuracy. I can do a great amount of work without any nervous tension, and am entirely cured of morbidness, said to be hereditary. All this is due to the understanding of Christian Science which I have, and words are inadequate to express my gratitude to our dear Leader for all this. Surely the new birth in each individual consciousness is going on hourly as thought is changed from a material to a spiritual basis.
