The Lectures

There was a large audience at Kopp's Opera House last Friday night [January 15] to listen to a lecture on "The Beneficial Effects of Christian Science" by Edward A. Kimball, C.S.D., of Chicago. A special train from Buffalo over the Erie Railroad brought about one hundred and sixty Scientists from Buffalo, Tonawanda, and Lockport. Others from Eden and adjoining towns, with the local members and other people of this village, greeted the speaker with a well-filled house.

The speaker was introduced by Mr. Perry M. Thorn of this village in appropriate and well-worded remarks.
