Thankfulness for what we have fits us to receive more...

Thankfulness for what we have fits us to receive more. As a result of the study of Mrs. Eddy's book, Science and Health, we look to God for our guidance, for help in time of seeming trouble, and to the one "Great Physician" in seeming sickness, and we never look in vain. If we believe that God healed all the cases that are spoken of in the Bible and yet do not believe He heals to-day, we do not believe the Bible, even though we say we do.

I feel the deepest gratitude and love to our Leader for bringing a knowledge of this saving truth to the present age, and I thank God that I was able to receive the message and not reject it. Through it I have been enabled to see God and His Christ in a new and more glorious light than ever before, and to see God's work as good, as He declared it to be when He had finished it.

I would like to tell of a demonstration of the power of Truth, which came to us recently. A little boy was playing about the house with his cousin; in moving a chair from one side of the room to the other he picked it up and raised it over his head, and as he did so the chair struck a heavy globe on a gas jet, knocking it off. It came down upon his bare head, striking him just over the forehead with much force.
