Our Literature

I wonder if we realize the amount of good that may be done in the loving distribution of our literature. The following extract from a letter just received, may give to some of our travelers a new thought of sowing the seed by all waters and remind them that "God giveth the increase," and that His word never returns void.

"I had to go down the railroad about four miles to do some work the other day and walked back, and on the way I sat down by the side of the Sacramento River to rest and to watch the fish. While sitting there the train passed by, and a lady threw out of the car window the July number of The Christian Science Journal, and what a blessing it was to me. I sat there until I had read it almost through before I started on.

"On the first page was the poem, 'Upward,' written by our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, which I learned by heart. This gave me new life, for it was the first Journal I had seen for months. I will try to live up to our teaching for I know that it is all love."
