When a child twelve years of age, I united with an orthodox church. I loved it dearly, and was thoroughly satisfied with the religious teaching I had received, until, through my own suffering and that of others, I turned to Christian Science and found what was lacking. I have seen the beneficial effects of this truth upon every member of my immediate family. I have witnessed the healing of malaria and typhoid fever, acute gastritis, erysipelas, and throat and other diseases, through Christian Science.

If I find my understanding is not sufficient to meet an ailment, I am obedient and do as we are advised in Science and Health, page 420, I "call an experienced Christian Scientist" to aid me, and the trouble is quickly met. I feel very thankful for Christian Science and to Mrs. Eddy through whom it has come to the world. I am also grateful to my dear teacher who has been so loving and patient with me.—Ida S.
