The Lectures

Bicknell Young, C.S.B., of Chicago, gave an address on Christian Science in the Grand Opera House yesterday afternoon [January 24] to a large audience, under the auspices of First and Second Churches of Christ, Scientist. Mr. Young was introduced by Howard C. Van Meter, First Reader of Second Church.—The St. Paul Globe.

Rev. Irving C. Tomlinson, C.S.B., lectured on "Christian Science and its Leader, Rev. Mary Baker G. Eddy," January 29, under the auspices of First Church of Christ, Scientist. The lecturer was introduced, in a few felicitous words, by Mr. J. D. Higgins. Though the evening was a most inclement one, the large church auditorium was filled by a deeply attentive audience. Very full extracts appeared in a number of the New York papers, and The Tribune of the following day devoted several columns to its report, so that the lecture has reached a very large body of readers.
