I first attended a Christian Science meeting last July, and an pleased to say that I have had a most peaceful time since, for I now know that I am God's child. I have for a great many years been surrounded by error, and have been well permeated with it, almost to my mental destruction. I was on the verge of nervous prostration, having three times during my life been obliged to go to a sanitarium for several months at a time. I had seemed to be filled with worry, hate, fear, etc., which were very extreme, and several bodily ailments were also very troublesome.
By continually reading Science and Health and other works by Mrs. Eddy I find they all are now gone.
Each day I find greater strength, and the first thing when I get up in the morning I thank God for everything, and also all during the day at very frequent intervals. I have memorized the "scientific statement of being," as given in Science and Health, and I know that I am God's child, having had numerous and convincing proofs that He is All in all. It seems that I was saved for some wise purpose, and I am very desirous of doing all I can to further the Cause of Christian Science in the right manner for the benefit of as many as may be placed in my way to show the power of Truth to make them whole.
