An Interesting Letter

The following letter, with enclosure, comes from a Christian Scientist in India.

Editor Sentinel:—Betimes our critics try to make capital out of the statement of Pundita Ramabai that "Christian Science is identical with the Hindu philosophy." It is generally understood that her statement was made upon hearsay and not upon a careful study of our text-book, nor upon an investigation of its teachings, practices, and their results.

It may be a pleasure to the Field to hear a word from one who has caught a glimpse of the Truth revealed in Christian Science, who recognizes that there is a very helpful difference between Christian Science and Hindu philosophy, and who gratefully acknowledges the same.
