There is a part of Christian Science which beginners...
There is a part of Christian Science which beginners seem very unwilling to accept, and it is that of healing animals. Like every other phase of Christianity this comes from lack of understanding, or spiritual insight. The Bible teaches us to "overcome evil with good." This is all of Christianity. It is all of Christian Science. When the eyes see an animal manifesting discord instead of harmony, expressing the mortal thought instead of the divine, is it too much for any Christian to know that all God's creatures are under the perfect law of a perfect God and not subject to anything but good? Is it too much to know that He cares for all, even the sparrow?
To me it is a great privilege to know the truth which makes free even the least of God's creatures. We try to live, and love, and know the one law, the one Truth, the one good that overcomes all evil. This, and nothing short of this, is what frees man and beast, and it is Christianizing the whole world and making mankind truly Christlike.
