I want to give my testimony to the Sentinel, and tell some of the many blessings Christian Science has brought to me and mine. This wonderful "Good News" first came to me six years ago and found me sick and heart-broken. I had always been delicate from childhood, and my dear parents were in constant fear of the worst. I was on the road most of the time, traveling to different climates, hoping and longing to be well. At times I considered myself so, but error was never subdued for any length of time. After the birth of my first child I was left a complete wreck, having so many troubles it seemed a human impossibility for me ever to be well. Materia medica had condemned me to a life of invalidism, and I felt myself "without hope and without God in the world," for my faith in God was almost a thing of the past, since I could not see what wickedness I had committed that was worthy of such suffering. It was at this time, while staying in California, that a friend kindly loaned me Science and Health, about which I had made a great many unkind remarks. When I read this wonderful book I realized that it was the truth.

The "hill of Science" has been a steep and rugged pathway for me and I have paused many times in the past six years to struggle with error, but with every victory has come fresher and stronger courage to continue the ascent, and I know it will "grow brighter unto the perfect day" if I only take up my cross and bear it, and realize Jesus' words "my yoke is easy, and my burden is light," for I shall have that peace of God which "passeth all understanding." Since apprehending Christian Science to be a revelation of Truth I have been healed of lung trouble, weak back, and other serious ailments for which materia medica prescribed two operations; but I have never had them, and now I walk a good deal, play tennis, ride on horseback, in fact do everything I had never expected to do again before I heard of Christian Science. My little boy has also been healed of scrofula.

I love God for revealing to this age through our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, this gospel of Christian Science which our Master first came to prove. May the darkness all be transformed by this glorious truth.
