Knowing as we are Known
One of the most inspiring promises given in the Bible is that at some time we shall know as we are known.
This statement is found near the close of Paul's great discourse on love which formed the basis of our Communion sermon, and the higher meaning of that lesson which dawned upon those who listened to it is finding expression in many grateful hearts and uplifted lives.
No one can deny that Paul's admonitions, as contained in the thirteenth chapter of First Corinthians have challenged the obedience of every Christian since the day when this message was sent out into the world's consciousness with its imperative demand; yet few can claim that it has been obeyed either in the spirit or the letter.
