I have had many proofs of divine Love
I have had many proofs of divine Love. One of the first was over a false growth that made itself known at the time of the birth of my youngest child. It seemed to call for an operation, but this was put off from time to time, as I never was able to have it performed. This was four years before I heard of Science, and by that time it had become quite troublesome. Shortly after hearing of Christian Science, a practitioner was called for some other ailment, and I mentioned it to her. She said, "Think no more about it, and I will attend to it."
From that time I thought no more about it, as trials came that put it out of my thought. When I did think of it, I was surprised to find that it had entirely disappeared. I did not know what to make of it, I had so little understanding in Christian Science, but as I thought upon it I knew that I had not felt it since speaking to the practitioner.
That is only one of the many testimonies I could give of Truth overcoming error. A case of accidental drinking of gasoline by a child was overcome; also a case of heart trouble, besides croup and other ailments. Best of all, is the overcoming of care and anxiety, and of sin, and the great peace that comes from a better understanding of God.
