I have been feeling for some time, that I ought to write to the Sentinel, and after reading so many helpful articles I decided I would put my good resolution into effect. I will not try to tell in full my experience, as that would be impossible. I was healed through Christian Science a year ago in July. Pen can never describe how miserable I had grown through constant suffering from a distressing complication of ills. Though I had had Science treatment for every little ill heretofore, I had wandered far away from it.
Before I was married my mother was always my helper. She had been healed ten years previous to my marriage, and I went to her for everything. But my husband was not a believer in Science, and in about a year after our marriage I began to have my trials. I myself had no faith whatever in drugs and my husband had none in Science, so I kept getting worse. He kept begging me to take drugs, and finally to please him I let him call a doctor, and from that time I began to grow decidedly worse, so he had another doctor, and still my symptoms were growing more serious, until he saw that if something was not done at once, I could not last much longer.
Then he became perfectly willing for me to have Christian Science, and he commenced reading it himself.
