"Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Two strong points in this appeal of St. Paul urge themselves upon my thought: "The renewing of your mind," and "the acceptable will of God."

The acceptable will of God! That man should suffer, be punished? Sin, repent, and make weary atonement? That was never, to me, the acceptable will of God. I would not accept it. Christian Science has, however, shown me an acceptable will.
