It is a little over four years since I commenced the study of Christian Science. Three years previous to this I had been healed of a severe ailment which three doctors failed to help at all, the last one saying that nothing but an operation would help me. But thanks to God and Christian Science the operation was not necessary, although I did not at that time take up the study of Christian Science in earnest; but the seed had been sown, and I was led back to divine Love to learn of this wonderful truth.
I have been healed of stomach trouble which was very bad. I had to be careful of my diet, and was so nervous and run down that the least exertion caused me great trouble, the fear of the heart trouble being great. Now I can eat anything, and I was also healed of another trouble from which I had suffered from childhood, a period of over twenty-five years.
There have been many other discordant conditions overcome, much sickness and sin has been destroyed by this understanding of God as taught in Christian Science, and I have always found when I have relied wholly upon God, He has never failed, and I know He never will. I feel very thankful to all who have helped me in this search for Truth, and cannot close without a word of love and gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us this way of life.—M. H., Philadelphia, Pa.
