One
of the most subtle temptations, to which we are subjected, is that of trying to make Christian Science easy for our friends, so that it will not grate harshly upon their preconceived notions of God and the universe, nor upon their views regarding socia, economic, and religious problems that have taxed the world for ages.

The Wednesday evening meetings of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Closse Street, differ from those of other evangelical churches, in this : that in the Christian Science Churches, many testimonies are given of physical healing as the direct result of the spiritual uplifting which comes through the understanding of God in Christian Science.
Before I began reading Science and Health I was in great spiritual darkness and utter despair.

My attention was first called to Christian Science through the healing of my sister, who had been an invalid for years.
Christian Science has brought so much peace to me, and has done so much for me that I find it difficult to express my gratitude in words.
To those who have never suffered from the fear of storms and atmospheric conditions, it may seem strange that any one could be under such bondage as I seemed to be in my early experience prior to my acquaintance with Christian Science.
Some eleven years ago I become interested in Christian Science through a sister who is a Scientist.
I have been waiting patiently for the right time to come that we may add our testimony of healing through Christian Science.
Every week I am so helped by some article or word in our publications, that I want to send my acknowledgment of what Christian Science has done and is doing for me.
