Healed Unconsciously
About two and a half years ago I first heard of Christian Science. I was in a very weak condition. I had been in a training school for nurses, but the more I saw there, the less faith I had in material means of healing. Seven of our family had passed away with consumption, and my fear of it was getting a hold on me. Everything I knew of then, it seemed to me, had been tried for our family, but all failed. When I became interested in Christian Science I studied the Sunday lessons two and sometimes three times a day. I was interested in all the Christian Science literature, and the Bible became a new book to me. I never thought of having treatment. My healing came to me so unconsciously that it seems just to have awakened me.—Elizabeth Miller, Jacksonville, Fla.
