Since the recent false and uncalled-for statements have been made about Christian Science and its Founder in a public meeting, a number of our good citizens, desiring to know the truth about the matter, have propounded certain questions to me with the request that I answer them through the columns of the local press in order that they and others who are interested might have an authoritative statement from one who is in a position to make it. I therefore hand you the following brief answers to a few questions.

Please state the mission or purpose of Christian Science.
