Sheboygan Herald
Editor Herald:— In a recent issue of the Sheboygan Herald, Rev. Chynoweth announced that he would preach a sermon on the subject of evil spirits, and their manifestations as seen in different beliefs, among which he names Christian Science.
This attracted our attention and we determined to go and hear how he could make it appear from a Scriptural basis, that the good resulting from Christian Science was due to evil spirits. This, of course, he failed to do. All he accomplished was to show his total ignorance of Christian Science, and that he was simply battling with his own misconception of Christian Science.
Mr. Chynoweth made some statements regarding Christian Science which were so entirely void of truth that we deem it but just to the cause which is benefiting thousands of hopeless and despairing people to make a few corrections through the press, which should always be a fair-minded avenue of enlightenment.
