Fractured Limb Healed
I had been under the care of all the different schools of medicine, and had taken patent medicines, but found only a little temporary relief. When Christian Science found me I was in such a state of mind that I did not care to try anything that would only prolong this existence, for if it was God's will (as I then believed) that I should be one to suffer, why try anything new? I can never express in words what an uplifting and comforting thought the understanding of God brings, through the teachings of Science and Health. The power of Truth to heal a broken bone was proven to me when I fell and fractured my right limb. I was healed in two weeks' time and I was only confined to the bed two days, where if I had called a doctor I am sure I would have had a very different experience. Although one claim has not disappeared, we know that man, being the image and likeness of God, is perfect, and if we keep before us that likeness harmony will be the result. — N. H. W. Chicago, Ill.
