Words can never express my gratitude for Mrs. Eddy's revelation of Christian Science or for all the healings I have had through the application of this religion for more than fifty years. And perhaps the prevention of illness and problems has been even more remarkable than the healings.

Sometime ago a stomach disorder developed. I would apply the truth as learned over the years and get relief, but still the very great distress would return in a few weeks or days. I called for the help of a practitioner. The help was immediate and I am grateful for it; but the distress returned.

Because of my many previous healings, I knew Science would heal this illness. When what proved to be the final attack came, I determined to hold to "the scientific statement of being," given on page 468 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I repeated this constantly, weighing each word and sentence, endeavoring not to listen to the pain, knowing that, as the statement tells us, "All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all." If the pain cried for recognition, I knew I could talk louder and faster and that I was speaking the truth.
