WORDS OF CURRENT INTEREST
[The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly designated to be read in Christian Science churches on June 20, 1965.]
The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea (Ps. 9:4)
The punctuation of this passage was not part of the original text. In his rendering. Kent alters it somewhat, thus connecting the passage more closely with both the preceding and the following verses, so that it reads: "The floods lift up their waves. More than the voices of many waters. Mightier than the breakers of the sea: Highly exalted art thou, O Jehovah. Thy testimonies are exceeding sure, Holiness becometh thy house, Thou, O Jehovah, art eternal."
With whom is no variableness, Neither Shadow Of Turning (James 1:17)
