A number of years ago a testimony of mine expressing gratitude for blessings received through Christian Science was published in the Sentinel. Since then I have relied upon God continually and I have been sustained daily. By filling my thought each morning with truths of God and man through the daily study of the Lesson-Sermon, given in the Quarterly, and through aligning my thoughts with God. I have found that whatever presents itself to me as a problem can be turned into an opportunity to see the law of God operate to the complete elimination of the problem.

One such opportunity came to me when I was awakened one Sunday morning by a severe pain affecting first my head and then my body. I had been contending with this aggressive suggestion for some time but hail not been able to free myself from it. I realized that I would have to meet this in my own thinking right then, or I would not be able to fulfill certain duties at church that day.

As I earnestly pondered the truths of being that came to me, I saw there is but one Life and that is God. I knew that this perfect Life, unfettered by pain, is reflected throughout the spiritual universe by man, the image and likeness of God. It was evident that because this is the truth, I could not possibly experience any pain. Realizing too that because Love is God, filling all space, there is no place for hatred and that this Love was enfolding me right at that moment, I was instantly healed and have remained so.
