The world-renowned astronomer who discovered the center of the galaxy of which earth is one of hundreds of millions of planets told Case Institute of Technology students... that the concept of God will have to be enlarged to include man's expanding knowledge of worlds without end.
Dr. Harlow Shapley, lecturer on cosmography and former director of the Harvard College Observatory, spoke at Case as part of a planned series of visits to the campus by noted scientists. The subject of his lecture was "Religion and Philosophy in an Age of Science."
