Right Environment Is Ever Present

Many persons are seeking a better environment, while others are satisfied with their surroundings and are sometimes highly critical of those who have a different standard of living. Wise parents endeavor to rear their children in wholesome surroundings, hopeful that the children will seek in later years a sphere of activity and society compatible with this early education.

Whatever the case, efforts to adjust often lead to frustration and sometimes to feelings of resentment toward groups or individuals. However necessary human footsteps may seem to be, mere human planning or scheming is never sufficient to guarantee a free and satisfying atmosphere. To find our true environment, we must turn away from personal outlining to the spiritual sense of existence.

Bible accounts reveal that Christ Jesus' boyhood was passed in humble surroundings; yet throughout his ministry we find him mingling peaceably with individuals of diverse backgrounds and cultures: the Jew, the Roman, the rich, the poor, the learned, and the untutored. There is no record of his having avoided any individual or group because of financial status or degree of learning.
