"Love is the liberator"

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Julie lived on a farm in the country where her father kept many sheep and horses. She had a pony of her own called Peggy. She loved this pony dearly, riding her to school each day two miles away.

On Saturdays she rode Peggy down to the local Pony Club where she and her friends spent many happy hours riding and training their ponies and learning how to care for them.

On Sundays she went with her brother and sisters to the Christian Science Sunday School where she learned many wonderful truths of God and of man, His beloved child. Hanging on the wall opposite from where she sat was a plaque with one of Christ Jesus' inspired sayings printed on it: "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). She knew that the truth she was learning at Sunday School would help her to solve the problems which presented themselves in everyday life. She was taught not only that she and her friends were safe in God's loving care, but that God loves and cares for every other creature in His kingdom too.
