"THE CONSUMMATE NATURALNESS OF TRUTH"

In the fifth chapter of Luke we are told of a man being brought to Christ Jesus, who healed him of palsy, saying (verse 24), "Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house." He was obedient to the instructions of the Master. We read: "Immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day."

Are there not some in the present day who, seeing or hearing of healings through the ministry of Christian Science, agree that the healings have been accomplished, but feel that they too "have seen strange things to day"? Sometimes even the smallest glimmer of the power of Christian Science brings awe to unenlightened human consciousness.

Those who are members of The Mother Church and of its branches have enlisted in the great Cause that protects the revelation, Christian Science, which is overturning the thoughts of many and permeating the fields of science, theology, and medicine. The need is to see not how miraculous, but how natural, indeed inevitable, are regeneration and its fruitage wherever the gentle Christ, which reveals the simple but profound truths of God, man, universe, law, and substance, is welcomed in.
