I have had many healings...
I have had many healings through the application of Christian Science. About three years ago I fell, injuring my spine. This affected my whole body. One morning when I made an attempt to arise, I found I could not do so. I had the prayerful help of a practitioner at times, and with the help of my husband's good work I found the strength to go on hopefully.
During this experience my appetite was affected, and I lost much weight. I had to learn that "man doth not live by bread only" (Deut. 8:3). I also had to learn to love more and to rid myself of resentment and fear.
I read many hymns from the Christian Science Hymnal; these gave me much courage. Especially helpful were the words (No. 182), "Make channels for the streams of Love."
