During the months preceding the passing on of my husband about three years ago, these statements from the Bible were particularly helpful to me (Deut. 33:25): "As thy days, so shall thy strength be," and (Ps. 121:2), "My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth."

After his passing, I found that as I included more study time in my daily living, more freedom was felt from the sense of grief. I have endeavored since then to live closer than ever to the teachings of Christian Science. In doing so, I have realized that good unfolds in one's consciousness and in one's daily experience, although at times one may feel as though error were taking an upper hand.

For more than twenty years, I have been doing secretarial work. For fifteen of those years I wore glasses. When I returned to business after an absence of two months at the time of my husband's passing, I could not see with the glasses, and so I laid them aside. I found I did not need them. The spiritual unfoldment from my earnest study resulted in this healing. It became evident to me that a nearer approach to perfection and completeness had been established in my experience. The healing of my eyes has been permanent. I have not worn glasses since.
